Alice Luann Redmond, 84, of Aetna Township, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026.

Alice was born September 1, 1942, the daughter of Sarah Elliott. She married Edward Redmond in the early 1980’s and together they raised 5 children. Alice was a member of Chrity Baptist Church and several quilting groups. She was a devoted nurse spending 20 years in long term nursing care and several years in Dialysis. She enjoyed going out to eat, gardening, canning, and quilting. Most important though was always her family. She was a nurturing, funny, homebody and a mother to many. She will be deeply missed.

Alice is survived by: her husband, Edward; children, Jim Leveque, Pam (Kirk) Oliver, Jennifer Leveque, Lisa Redmond, and Teresa (Brett) Black; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; brothers, Clifford (Skip) Church, and Tommy Church; and sisters, Harriet Dennison, and Shelly Martin.

She was preceded in death by: her daughter, Carrie Leveque; mother; and sister, Violet.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 14, 2026 at Charity Baptist Church 20980 20 Mile Rd, Paris, Michigan. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the start of the service at the church. Interment will be at Aetna Township Cemetery.
