Alice I. Earle, 91 of Barryton, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, October 29, 2018 at The Brook in Big Rapids. She was born on December 26, 1926 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Irving "Floyd" and Bertha (Gibbs) Bonham. Alice graduated from the Barryton Rural Agricultural High School in 1945. She married her high school sweetheart, Rex R. Earle on June 4, 1945 in Barryton. Throughout her working career Alice was employed at MacKersie Brothers, Williams Caf as a waitress and at Barryton Elementary as a teachers aide. Alice was a longtime member of the Barryton Church of God. She is survived by her loving son, Bob (Ruby) Earle of Barryton; 5 grandchildren, Michael Stillwell, Carrie Hines and Craig (Becky) Stillwell all of Arkansas, Scott (Leslie) Earle of Barryton and Tony (Shelli) Earle of Mecosta; 15 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren, extended family and close friends. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rex in 2009; an infant daughter, Gloria Kay Earle; daughter, Linda Stillwell and three sisters, Agnes (Mel) Smith, Dorothy Doherty and Irene (Louis) Tanner. Funeral services will take place 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton with Pastor Gary Bryan officiating. Burial will be at East Fork Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Saturday, before the funeral, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Alices name may be given to Hospice of Michigan.
