Alex Cool Villegas, the beloved little miracle of Lupe and Michelle (Cool) Villegas went home on Monday, March 27, 2017. He was born on July 27, 2016 and was a blessing to his family, bringing love to all of those close to them. He had a radiant smile and is cherished by his parents; a brother, Eddie and sister, Shelia; grandparents, Juan and Karen Villegas of Depue, IL and Marcia (Lou) Johnson of Barryton and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Edward Cool (Sr.); maternal great-grandparents, Oscar (Gertrude) Woodbury and Dorothy Cool; paternal great-grandfather, Harold D. Hastings. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1st at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Flake Cemetery in Barryton.
