Albert C. Frost, age 85, of Barryton passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Schnepp Nursing Facility in St. Louis. He was born February 23, 1924 in Vestaburg to MI and Bertha (Bennett) Frost. Albert retired as a die cast supervisor and moved to the Barryton area over 25 years ago where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Albert is survived by his beloved companion Beatrice Rosinski of Barryton, four children: Alfred "Roger" (Darlene) Frost of Stanton, Joyce Higgs of Snellville, Georgia, Bert Frost of Greenville, and Wanda (Tony) Sella of Comstock Park, two step children; Joanna (Richard) Laskowski of Bay City, and Connie (Rick) Keer of Silverwood, daughter-in-law, Garnell "Cookie" Frost of Shepherd, 20 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, 1 brother, 6 sisters, many nieces, nephews and friends who will treasure the memories they have. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Ronald and 3 brothers Donald, Roy and Bobby Frost. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday (today) at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. Funeral services for Albert will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11th at the Barryton Church of God with visitation at the church one hour prior with the minister (Albert's grandson) Matthew Higgs officiating. Interment will take place 1:00 p.m. Friday at Roseland Cemetery in Jackson.
