Alan Wayne Sherman, age 65 of Barryton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday July 28, 2022 at home, he was preparing for the upcoming hunting season. Al was born December 4, 1956 the son of Art and Annie (Letson) Sherman. He grew up in Lake and graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 1975. Al married Lora Ann Bazaire on September 28, 1981 and together they made their home in Barryton. He worked in both the oil fields and a gas plant until his retirement. Al loved everything about the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Lora; two sons, Garth (Crissy) Sherman of Lake, Garrett Sherman of Remus; three grandchildren, Kyleigh (Nick) Robinson of Alaska, Bryce Roebuck of Mt. Pleasant, Eli Sherman of Lake; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. There will be no public services.
