Alan D. Couturier, age 68 of Morley, Michigan passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 15, 1953 in Northport, MI the son of William J. and Delores E. (Stowe) Couturier. He graduated from Suttons Bay High School in 1972. Al retired from the automotive industry in Alabama. He moved back to his home state of Michigan to enjoy the simpler things in life. He enjoyed the view from his front porch, working in the yard as well as growing a garden. He loved the outdoors, especially boating with his girls. Al is survived by his two daughters, Christine Couturier (Kelvin Perdomo) of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Chelsea Couturier of Garrett, IN; a sister, Mazie (Henry) Normand of Morley; a brother, Ronald (Eileen) Couturier of New Jersey; many nieces, nephews and a dear friend and companion, Cindy Boren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Barry Couturier and a nephew Taylor Couturier. Cremation has taken place and Al will be laid to rest 1PM Thursday, December 23rd at the family plot in Aetna Township Cemetery, Morley. Pastor Frank Taylor will be officiating.
