Adam J. Byberg, age 23 of Remus, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 4, 2014. He was born on May 4, 1991 in Big Rapids to Thomas and Laurie (Randall) Byberg. Adam graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 2010 and in 2011 graduated from Lincoln Technical School in Indianapolis with a certificate in diesel mechanics. He was currently employed at Quality Truck and Tire of Clare. Adam enjoyed hunting, fishing and four wheeling. He loved spending time with his friends, nieces and nephews; and tried to stand up for what was right. Adam will be remembered by his parents Tom and Laurie and his brothers, Jarrod (Sarah) Waite of Clare and Ryan (Samantha) Byberg of Beal City as a person who was a protector; to his beloved niece and nephews Easton and Wesley Waite and Aubrey and Aiden Byberg he will be remembered as being playful and loving; he leaves behind his best friend Courtney Olger and her family of Blanchard; Grandparents Louie (Linda) Randall; Aunts and Uncles, William "Bill" (Peg) Byberg, Gayle (John) Rettinger, Pam Byberg, Rick(Cher) Randall and their families; and many extended family members, and close friends who will continue to cherish the memories they have. Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents Louis (Bertha) Byberg and his Uncle Mike Byberg. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8th at New Hope United Methodist Church (7296 9 Mile Rd., Mecosta) with the family greeting friends two hours prior from Noon til 2:00 p.m. at the Church.
